My artist life began when I was a youngster drawing on the blank pages at the front and back of my storybooks. I also followed my photographer Dad around with an Instamatic camera he gave me to use.
I may have stopped sketching on book pages and using an Instamatic but I certainly have not stopped drawing, painting and using cameras.
I paint with pastels on Wallis sanded paper on location and in the studio.
I use a Nikon DSLR to make photographs. A very grown up camera system.
I use an iPhone to create iPhoneography. An entirely new medium that is just too fun.
I love weather and the sky and the texture of the land. The Chesapeake, the marsh, rocks and grasses. Pine trees, rivers and clouds. The ocean and dunes and the wind.
My artist life.
Along with my sister Terri, I own More Than Fine Framing in Ruxton, Maryland.
My art is displayed in the gallery.
